The story is set in a dystopian world where Aliens have taken over the human race leaving humanity to dwindle rapidly. The Aliens took to keeping the humans as pets and entertainment. One form of entertainment that quickly rose in popularity was known as Alien Stage. Alien Stage is a show very similar to what we know as K-POP survival shows. Contestants are paired up and set on a bracket. The pairs go head-to-head in a song competition. Whoever has the most votes by the end of the song is the winner and moves on. The loser is shot by guards positioned around the perimeter of the stage. There are 6 rounds in total for the show. The winner is the last competitor standing. The competition does not start at Round 1, though. In fact, the competition starts from the moment they are born. The contestants are bred and raised specifically for the show. They spend their entire lives training in a facility known as Anakt Garden. The children are put through multiple tests to improve their performance abilities and talent. Some don’t make it through their tests and are terminated before they can begin their official training. From those who do make it to the stage, only one comes out victorious while the others die. For the winners, glory does not mean they are safe. In some cases, winners from previous seasons come back to compete. In reality, the show is an inescapable loop of terror and trauma.
